SMALL TURF IRRIGATION - SPRINKLER SYSTEM DESIGN & INSTALLATION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials as necessary to design, install a complete underground lawn sprinkler system to efficiently irrigate the areas
specified by the H.L. Mooney Water Reclamation Facility.

The exact irrigation area will be identified by the Contractor by appointment to be scheduled after the mandatory site visit.

The construction of the sprinkler system shall include furnishing, installing and testing of all irrigation equipment and solar power supply system, along with the restoration of the site to its original condition.

PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE: A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for 8:30 A.M. (ET) on June 4, 2013, located at H.L. Mooney Water Reclamation Facility, 1851 Rippon Blvd, Woodbridge, Virginia 22191. Proposal preparation details will be available after the site visit. Interested Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provide all materials, equipment and labor necessary for the construction of approximately 2443 feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main, fittings and appurtenances, 3545 feet of 8-inch ductile iron Water main, fittings and appurtenances, 2235 feet of 6 –inch water main, fittings and appurtenances, 545 feet of 4” ductile iron water main, fittings and appurtenances, replacement of all associated customer water service connections, connections to existing water mains, pavement of all affected streets in eastern Prince William County as described in the specifications, drawings, and terms and conditions listed herein.

Any forfeiture of the Bid Bond is limited to the face amount of the bond or the difference between the bid and the next low bid whichever is less.

The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, Payment Bond and a Maintenance Warranty Bond.

IFB SA 1313 Spittle Complex, Neabsco and Wellington Operation Centers Electric Service & Generator Upgrades

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The work to be done under this Contract and in accordance with these Specifications consists of furnishing equipment, superintendence, labor, skill, material and other items necessary for the construction of improvements to the Raymond P. Spittle Administrative Complex, Neabsco Operations Center and Wellington Operations Center generally consist of electrical and standby generation upgrades.

The Work will include, but not be limited to:

Demolition of existing equipment and raceways at the Spittle site, installation of a new 937.5 kVA standby generator, installation of new 480/277 volt, three phase , 4 wire , service entrance rated low voltage switchboard SWB-1, with source transfer controls and switched neutral and overlapping neutral contacts, installation of connection from the new standby generator to new SWB-1, construction of a new concrete equipment pad, installation of emergency lighting, installation of new underground raceways and site improvements.

Demolition of existing equipment and raceways at the Wellington site, installation of a new 125 kVA standby generator with associated automatic transfer equipment, installation of new 480/277 volt , three phase, 4 wire, service entrance rated automatic transfer switch switched neutral with overlapping neutral contacts, installation of emergency lighting, installation of new underground raceways and site improvements.

Demolition of existing equipment and raceways at the Neabsco site, installation of a new 125 kVA standby generator with associated automatic transfer equipment, installation of new 480/277 volt, three phase, 4 wire, service entrance rated automatic transfer switch switched neutral with overlapping neutral contacts installation of emergency lighting , installation of new underground raceways and site improvements.

The Contractor shall perform all work required for such construction in accordance with the Contract Documents and subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract, complete and ready for use.

SA 1813 Financial Auditing Services

FINANCIAL AUDITING SERVICES

BACKGROUND: The Prince William County Service Authority (“Service Authority”) is a public utility created in 1983 under the Virginia Water and Sewer Authorities Act chartered by the Prince William Board of County Supervisors. The Service Authority is an independent body responsible for providing comprehensive water and sewer services in Prince William County. The Service Authority has approximately 85,000 customers and provides wastewater treatment for the eastern portion of the county via the H.L. Mooney AWRF, a 24.0 mgd facility. Wastewater service for the western portion of the county is provided by the Upper Occoquan Service Authority, a 54.0 mgd regional facility that is jointly owned by Fairfax County, Prince William County, the City of Manassas, and the City of Manassas Park. Water is supplied via wholesale water purchase agreements with the Fairfax Water and the City of Manassas, as well as Service Authority-owned wells. The water and sewer system is composed of approximately 1,160 miles of water mains and 1,080 miles of sewer mains.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Prince William County Service Authority (the Authority) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its annual Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and provide other auditing or consulting services from time to time as permissible under the independence and ethics guidelines. Of those firms qualified to provide these services to the Authority, the selected firm will be the one best able to demonstrate capabilities to fulfill the Authority’s requirements under this Request for Proposal (RFP).
