Water Academy

Program Overview

It’s almost time for the Service Authority's Water Academy 2024!

This award-winning, three-session educational program is perfect for adults and rising high school seniors who live or work in Prince William County and are curious about what it takes to get water from its source to the tap and back again and want to explore their own role as an environmental steward.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the water and wastewater industry from experts in the field, get a behind-the-scenes tour of the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility and meet some of the people who literally keep our water flowing smoothly.

The program is free, but space is limited, so register today!

The Water Academy meets on June 11, 18 and 25. Dinner is provided, starting at 4:30 p.m., and presentations and activities take place from 5 p.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m.

Prince William County school teachers are eligible for Continuing Education Credits upon completion of the Water Academy.

Registrations close on May 17, 2024. Apply today!
