ALERT: The Service Authority is performing daily inspections of the temporary patchwork and working with the contractor to maintain safe driving conditions. Please reduce speed while traveling through this area as it is a construction site.

Work Completed from 03/30/15 to 04/10/15:

• Approximately 1,100 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive continuing southward.
• Approximately 1,750 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main on the south side of Asdee Lane from Greatbridge Road working westward.
• Daily inspection and maintenance of temporary asphalt patching.
• All work has required the use of flaggers to maintain traffic; delays have been minimal.

On the horizon for the next couple of weeks:

• Continued installation of the 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive.
• Finish installation of the 12-inch ductile iron water main on the south side of Asdee Lane.
• Install the 12-inch ductile iron water main across Davis Ford Road at the intersection with Asdee Lane.
• Daily inspection and maintenance of temporary asphalt patching.
• Flaggers will continue to manage traffic; you can expect to see continued delays along the work route for the next couple of weeks.
• All planned work is subject to change and is contingent upon the appropriate weather for underground utility installation.
• Contractor to provide schedule to permanently restore Davis Ford Road, for areas south of Asdee Lane that currently have a temporary patch.
