Don't Be Fooled by Service Authority Impostors

The Service Authority strongly advises homeowners to be on the lookout for imposters claiming to be Service Authority employees and asking to collect water samples. Please take the following precautions if you are approached:

• Ask to see their utility-issued photo ID. Our employees always carry company-issued photo ID badges when they are on duty. Do not open your door to anyone who will not provide an official Service Authority ID.
• Never give cash. Our employees never collect money or credit card information from customers in the field.
• Look for the SA logo. All Service Authority employees wear uniforms and drive company-branded vehicles that clearly display our logo when they are on duty in the field.
