Since February 2, 2015, the Prince William County Service Authority's contractor, Arthur Construction Company, Inc. (ACCI), has successfully negotiated with a landowner to use of a small parcel of land at the NW corner of Prince William Parkway and Davis Ford Road for the purposes of a staging site for materials and equipment.

Over the past two weeks, ACCI has installed approximately 950 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron sewer main on the west side of Davis Ford Road just north of Prince William Parkway. Additionally, ACCI has installed construction staking along the southern end of Davis Ford Road, the entirety of Asdee Lane and the east end of Occoquan Forest Drive. The construction stakes are offset 15 feet from the actual location where the mains are to be installed. All work has required the use of flaggers to maintain traffic. VDOT has required that work is prohibited during the morning and evening rush hours. Traffic delays have been minimal as a result.

The current outlook for February 16, 2015 through March 1, 2015 will be to continue to install the 6-inch force main on the west side of Davis Ford Road up to Asdee Lane. Additionally, ACCI is planning to install silt fencing and the proposed 12-inch ductile iron water main along the south side of Asdee Lane and along the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive.
