Approximately 960 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron sewer main on the west side of Davis Ford Road just south of Asdee Lane.
Approximately 880 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive from Ramblewood and working southward.
All work has required the use of flaggers to maintain traffic; delays have been minimal as we avoid the morning and evening commute.
On the horizon for the next couple of weeks:
Continued installation of the 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive.
Start installation of 12-inch ductile iron water main on the south side of Asdee Lane from the intersection with Great Bridge Road working eastward.
Flaggers will continue to manage traffic; you can expect to see continued delays along the work route for the next couple of weeks.
All planned work is subject to change and is contingent upon the appropriate weather for underground utility installation.
