Updates since February 27, 2015:
- Approximately 960 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron sewer main on the west side of Davis Ford Road just south of Asdee Lane.
- Approximately 880 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive from Ramblewood and working southward.
- All work has required the use of flaggers to maintain traffic; delays have been minimal as we avoid the morning and evening commute.
On the horizon for the next couple of weeks:
- Continued installation of the 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive.
- Start installation of 12-inch ductile iron water main on the south side of Asdee Lane from the intersection with Great Bridge Road working eastward.
- Flaggers will continue to manage traffic; you can expect to see continued delays along the work route for the next couple of weeks.
- All planned work is subject to change and is contingent upon the appropriate weather for underground utility installation.
