Approximately 1,350 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main and 10x6 dual-walled HDPE force main, in a common trench, on the SW side of Davis Ford Road to just east of Alford Valley Lane.
All work has required the use of flaggers to maintain traffic; delays have been minimal.
On the horizon for the next couple of weeks:
Install 12-inch ductile iron water main and 10x6 dual-walled HDPE force main, in a common trench, on the SW side of Davis Ford Road from Occoquan Oaks northwesterly for approximately 800 feet.
Install Fire Hydrants and valves according to the plans.
Flaggers will continue to manage traffic; you can expect to see continued delays along the work route for the next couple of weeks.
All planned work is subject to change and is contingent upon the appropriate weather for underground utility installation.
Daily inspection and maintenance of temporary asphalt patching.
