Approximately 750 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive continuing southward.
Approximately 315 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main on Davis Ford Road just north of Asdee Lane.
Approximately 40 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron force main on the west side of Davis Ford Road, just north of Asdee Lane.
Approximately 40 linear feet of 10-inch by 6-inch ductile HDPE on the west side of Davis Ford Road, just north of Asdee Lane.
All work has required the use of flaggers to maintain traffic; delays have been minimal.
On the horizon for the next couple of weeks:
Install 12-inch ductile iron water main and 10-inch by 6-inch dual walled HDPE force main, in a common trench, on the SW side of Davis Ford Road from just north of Asdee Lane northward.
Flaggers will continue to manage traffic; you can expect to see continued delays along the work route for the next couple of weeks.
Daily inspection and maintenance of temporary asphalt patching.
All planned work is subject to change and is contingent upon the appropriate weather for underground utility installation.
Contractor to permanently restore Davis Ford Road, for areas south of Asdee Lane that currently have a temporary patch.
