ALERT: Thank you for your patience with the construction and temporary patchwork occurring with the Occoquan Forest Project.  We are doing everything we can to minimize the impacts to residents and travelers on the impacted roads. There will be ongoing disruptions until the project has been completed. In an effort to minimize inconveniences, we are performing daily inspections to ensure that the temporary pavement restoration meets VDOT regulations and allows the contractor to make timely corrective actions.

Work Completed from 03/13/15 to 03/27/15:

• Approximately 1,150 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive continuing southward. 
• Approximately 1,300 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main on the south side of Asdee Lane from Greatbridge Road working westward.
• All work has required the use of flaggers to maintain traffic; delays have been minimal.

On the Horizon for the Coming Weeks:

• Continued installation of the 8-inch PVC water main on the west side of Occoquan Forest Drive.
• Continued installation of the 12-inch ductile iron water main on the south side of Asdee Lane.
• Flaggers will continue to manage traffic; you can expect to see continued delays along the work route for the next couple of weeks.
• All planned work is subject to change and is contingent upon the appropriate weather for underground utility installation.
