Current & Future CIP Construction Projects

The Service Authority is committed to providing reliable water service to its customers today and far into the future. Our ability to provide drinking water and wastewater services for homes, businesses, schools and public facilities throughout much of Prince William County requires a robust infrastructure network.

Each year, the Service Authority adopts a planning document called the Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The CIP identifies projects across a five-year horizon, with a focus on preserving and enhancing the Service Authority’s water and sewer infrastructure.

The map below identifies some CIP projects with significant community impact that are currently in the design and construction phases. The map also identifies some projects managed by others – such as the Virginia Department of Transportation, Prince William County and developers – in which Service Authority system improvements are within the scope of their work.
