The Montclair/Four Seasons Water System Improvements Project provides improved reliability to Montclair, Four Seasons, Brittany and Southlake, as well as commercial areas and neighborhoods along Dumfries Road. The three main components of the project include a Booster Pumping Station, Supply Main and Discharge Main.

Project Status Update

The Service Authority Board of Directors approved the award of the Preliminary Stage Design-Build Services Contract on July 9, 2020. The Service Authority issued the notice-to-proceed to the Design-Builder (ACE/KCI) on July 29, 2020. ACE/KCI will complete 65% design and prepare/negotiate a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the project. The estimated completion date for Preliminary Stage Design-Build Services is April 29, 2021. Contingent upon successful negotiations of the GMP and the award of the Final Design and Construction Contract, the estimated final construction completion date is spring 2023.

Upcoming Project Activities

Planned activities from December 14, 2020, through January 15, 2021, include the following:

Site Surveying: The Service Authority’s Design-Builder (ACE/KCI) began to perform site surveying on December 14 and will continue through January 15, working on Mondays through Thursdays, assuming good weather.
